The Big Shirt

This is a fun shirt with tons of possibilities for embellishment. Purchase “The Big Shirt” book from Laura when you sign up. I will have small, medium and large shirts I made that you can try on for size at our first class. I will also show you how to determine which fabric to go where and will give your ideas for embellishment. This is an easy shirt to make!

The Florida Sew-ciety is a sewing group organized for Florida sewing enthusiasts and their snowbird friends. We will focus on sewing, education, charitable activities – and fun. Come join us!
Square in a Square Exploding Star

Learn how to sew this beautiful wall hanging without cutting or sewing triangles using the Square in a Square technique. Your choice of color will determine the look of this wall hanging, it would be great in Christmas, patriotic or fall colors. During this class you will learn how to sew and cut the Option14™ of the Square in a Square system. You will also learn about other quilt patterns that can easily be made with this Option. Email me to register for the class and to receive the supplies list.

Basic sewing for the beginner or the terrified- this is a fun skill building class: we will start with the basics to develop confidence and spark your creative side! Each week a project using a particular skill or technique will be presented and each subsequent class we will build on what has already been learned. Students must bring their own machine or make arrangements to borrow one from the shop. The whole idea is to have fun and learn solid skills at the same time!

Level: Intermediate
The Ultimate Travel Bag is awesome! And it is carry-on compliant. It has quick grab handles and an adjustable padded strap. It has lots of pockets: zippered and slip pockets on the front, back and ends. Inside there are 3 more slip pockets. You will be able to secure it to rolling luggage with a Velcro strap to prevent movement. Never take a trip without it. There is plenty of time scheduled so that you will be certain to be able to finish—you probably will not need all this time.
