Summer/Fall Session
If you have been wanting to learn to quilt or tried to quilt on your own and ran into obstacles, then this series of classes is for you. We’ll cover everything from start to finish while constructing a Carpenter’s Star quilt. We’ll start with the basics – quilting terms, how to read a pattern, proper technique using a rotary cutter – and then continue on thru piecing the blocks, putting them together, then quilting and binding. After the five classes, you’ll have a finished quilt you’ll be proud to say “I made that” – I promise!!

Time: 10:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., with lunch break and multiple stretch breaks
Cost: $150.00 plus supplies. Since we can only accommodate 8 students, I do require a $50 deposit to hold your place in the class.
An extensive handout with photos is provided.
Sample quilt is available to view at Laura’s Sewing, Palm Beach Gardens location. Students chose their own colors and fabrics.
