Quilted/Upholstered Footstool or Small Bench

June 29 and July 14, 2023

In this class you will learn to how to design and create a fabulous top and bottom for a small footstool or a small bench. This is a two day class – day one we will design and create the quilted pieces – and discuss appropriate colors, techniques for finishing your furniture -day two we will assemble and upholster your bench or footstool!

Supply List:

Small footstool or bench from home or from a thrift shop

Interesting fabric with a focal point to build around- Lauras has a great selection!!

Sewing machine, basic sewing tools

Sand paper, spray paints, finishes – to be discussed in class 1
